Sunny Tangerine

The inspiration for this piece emerged during a journey through the Algarve, Portugal.

While visiting a local ceramic artist, my eye was drawn to a sun-colored vase. The warmth and vibrancy of its tones inspired me to carry these colors through into the bouquet.

After carefully selecting Italian Murano glass, the melting process began. The bouquet itself consists of 12 hand-formed glass flowers, each shaped individually in the flame. The entire composition has been carefully annealed in a kiln, following the traditional rules of the craft.
